Across whole show

Entry Portions of every episode are from a Japanese version of the show. Almost every episode in series 1 was two thirds Japanese footage, just voiced over. Saban used this Japanese footage to save on filming its own.
Entry Tommy has been more colours than any other Ranger. He has been the Green, White, Red, and Black Ranger.
Entry Actress Thuy Trang, the original Yellow Ranger, was unfortunately killed in a car accident in September 2001 in San Francisco.

The Green Candle (2) (series 1)

Entry Jason David Frank, who played Tommy, left the show in the episode because his powers had been stolen by the Green Candle. However, he had become the most popular member of the Power Team, despite the original plan being just to temporarily have him on the show. Saban received large amounts of letters daily requesting Frank be brought back. The company eventually gave in and brought Frank back in the episode "Return of an Old Friend." He was returned to Green Ranger status in part 2.

The Rockstar (series 1)

Entry Tommy, played by Jason David Frank, did not appear in this episode, despite being listed in the opening credits, and the Green Ranger powers being active.

The Spit Flower (series 1)

Entry During one scene, you can see the custom motorcycles used in the Japanese version of the show in the background - the American Rangers weren't given these cycles.

The Wedding (1) (series 2)

Entry This episode and 'Return of the Green Ranger' were filmed in Australia after the movie was completed. Unable to fly back to the U.S. because of a pilot strike, the show took advantage of this unusual opportunity.

White Light (2) (series 2)

Entry At the time of writing, Tommy is the only Ranger to of been two different-colored Rangers in one series, having been the Green and White Ranger in series two.

The Mutiny (1) (series 2)

Entry This was the first episode where the Rangers take their helmets off in the Command Centre.

I'm Dreaming of a White Ranger (series 3)

Entry Future Yellow Turbo and Space Ranger Tracy Lynn Cruz, who would go on to play Ashley, makes a cameo appearance in this episode.

Ninja Quest (1) (series 3)

Entry There was confusion when this episode aired, as it ignored everything that had happened in the Power Rangers movie (the Rangers getting new powers and Zords), which had been released that summer.

A Friend in Need (1) (series 3)

Entry This episode was designed to advertise Saban's then-new show, "The Masked Rider."

All of series 3 (series 3)

Entry In the Japanese version of the show, there was no Pink Ranger - hence there only being a Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, and White Shogunzord. The Cranezord was originally designed for the White Ranger (who, in the Japanese version, was female), and the Falconzord was an entirely different Zord.

Good as Gold (series 4)

Entry Steve Cardenas, who plays Rocky, did not make a personal appearance in this episode - only in morphed form.

The Phantom Phenomenon (series 5)

Entry So far, the Phantom Ranger is the only Ranger who's identity has never been revealed.

Passing the Torch (2) (series 5)

Entry At the time of writing, TJ has been the only black Red Ranger, and the only black leader of the Power Team.

Shift into Turbo (1) (series 5)

Entry The original plan for this series was for Lord Zedd and Rita to be the villains for this series, with Divatox joining them later.

Forever Red (series 10)

Entry This episode featured an appearance by every Red Ranger, with the exception of Steve Cardenas, who played Rocky in series 2, 3, and 4.
Entry One of the Machine Empire's Generals is from another Saban live-action show, "Big Bad Beetleborgs."
