When Ethan and Angelina struggle with the scissors, he initially grabs her left wrist and pins her right arm to her chest behind it. Then for the majority of the scene, her arms are reversed. When he stabs her, it's back to the original position. See more...

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.
Why didn't they show the pictures of Ethan and Keifer to Mom at the same time? Obviously they didn't trust Ethan totally, they showed both pictures to the landlord after the interview with Ethan. [They didn't show them both to Mom because at that point he was a suspect. But when they went to the landlord, they were still considering Ethan Hawke a suspect which is why they showed both photos.]
In the scene in Costa's apartment after the failed baiting ploy, Costa describes himself as a loner who "bought a gun for a false sense of security", appeared to have had it with him during the evening, and gave the impression that he bought it after he witnessed the murder. Although IlIeana mightn't know, the Montreal police in the room might (should) have wondered about this. It is very difficult to acquire a restricted weapon (handgun) in Canada, the process taking one month to as many as six or more for clearance and permits, let alone courses and examinations. In addition, concealed carry of a weapon is prohibited for civilians. [He probably bought it illegally, i.e. off the street. He probably doesn't care about the other laws either.]
When they exhume Martin's body, Angelina Jolie and the two doctors are standing over the body in the morgue without covering their noses or wearing masks. They are inspecting and having a conversation around a 15 year old corpse without a hint of an odor. Most people couldn't stay in the same room as a corpse due to the foul odor. [The odor of a corpse is caused by the byproducts of the process of decomposition. After 15 years, a corpse would have long ago reached whatever stage of decompostion that was allowed by its situation and not smell any worse than the dirt around it.]
While the movie is set in Montreal, many locations are in Quebec City. The worst example of this is the Chateau Frontenac, which is very much not in Montreal. They even make a point of showing Mrs Asher being put up in the Chateau. [While it is not subtitled that we are in Quebec city (like it was for Montreal the first time), it is said that Mrs. Asher lives in Quebec city and she saw her son on the ferry going to Quebec city. So all scenes involving her may take place in Quebec city (like for putting her in a hotel for her protection).]
