Trivia

In the scene where Kamil the dog attacks the drunken guy at the crotch, no protection was used in order to make the scene as real as possible, but the dog had been specially trained for weeks beforehand to bite the area, but to not clamp down or force itself down. In the first take of the scene, where Barb Wire makes Kamil sit down, the guy used timed it badly, and forgot to bend down as the dog did. As you can imagine, this was painful. See more...

Barb Wire (1996) - 2 corrections

starring Clint Howard, Pamela Anderson, Temuera Morrison, Udo Kier, Xander Berkeley (add more)

Genres: Action, Sci-fi

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

Entry Throughout the movie, Barb Wire's constant refrain is "Don't call me Babe!" This trademark that she uses was actually taken from the Barb Wire Dark Horse comic book. David Hogan then used this to make Barb Wire's character more darker. [Amazing. A film based on a comic-book that uses quotes taken directly from that book? Who'd have thought it. Hardly valid trivia, though.]
Entry When the police chief hands Barb the grenade, there are Directorate soldiers behind them. Surely they would have noticed he didn't cuff her. [There is a 50% chance that they would see this, but then a 50% chance they would not. Your mistake is saying the Directorate soldiers HAD to have seen this, but they don't really seem to be looking closely as he "cuffs" her.]
