Mistakes

In the Redstar mainframe, we are told that the floor of the vault will trigger the alarm if it receives more than 0.25 seconds of contact (apparently even with the security checks). What would be the point of the bosses going through all of those security measures if they would just set the alarm off anyway? Surely once the girls have faked the fingerprint and retina scans, they don't then need to flip across the floor! See more...

When Drew Barrymore is mostly naked and knocks on the window of a house, it is the same house that she lived in in the movie E.T., the Extra-Terrestrial. See more...

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

Entry When Alex reaches across to fix the drive-thru speaker, the guy is incomprehensibly talking away on the other end. She fixes the connection, and he starts again at "May I take your order?", as though he knew she had just fixed the connection. [Many drive-thru people say a lot of other things (Hi, welcome to - - -, today's special is - - -, blah blah blah) before they say "May I take your order?"]
Entry When Natalie (Cameron Diaz) makes the contact lens which they use to break into Red Star, it is clear when she holds it up to admire her work. However, when they are breaking in, the contact lens turns her blue eyes brown. [There's actually a slight rim of a dark color in the contact lens. It's the center that's clear.]
Entry When Natalie is about to save Bosley she gets a call on her mobile, before answering she shouts out "Pete!" only when we later see him on the phone he is calling from a payphone, so how would she know it was him? [She could just be hoping. As she didn't get his number, an unknown number on her phone could make her think that it was Pete, especially as he had promised to call her.]
Entry Near the end of the film Knox is flying a Huey helicopter and the Angels hitch a ride by shooting it with a spear gun and dangling on the line behind it. Suddenly adding about 200kgs to a Huey in flight like that is going to cause all sorts of problems with the trim and airspeed of the aircraft - the pilot would know immediately that something was wrong. [Knox wasn't a trained pilot. Either he had no clue to what was going on, or he thought something may have been wrong, but didn't know what to do about it.]
Entry I'm a helicopter pilot, and let me tell you that if the weight of my aircraft (somehow) goes up by say, 200 kgs - and the three Angels combined must weigh that much - in flight then I'm going to know about it. There isn't a single flight characteristic that wouldn't be drastically affected. How come the bad guy flying the Huey near the end of the film doesn't even notice? [He's probably not that good of a pilot so therefore doesn't notice.]
Entry When Alex is giving her speech about efficiency at Redstar she slams her cane down onto the table in front of her. After she lifts it up the camera angle changes and she is standing too far away from the table to have hit it. [It's a long cane, and she's only slamming the first few inches of it on the table.]
Entry Knox thinks he has killed Dylan when he shoots her and she falls out the window. If this happens then why isn't he surprised to see her when all the angels go to rescue Bosley? [He is surprised - the expression flits across his face and he whispers something when he first sees Dylan, but he covers it well and immediately jumps to distracting her while Vivian sneaks up behind her. Just thinking on his feet.]
Entry When the Angels begin their investigation, their first port of call is Roger Corwen. Cameron Diaz says "Palm Pilot", handing it to Lucy Liu. We then see a Windows CE device downloading and a Palm Pilot uploading. All well and good - the Palm Pilot's uploading its data to Lucy Liu's CE device (which is in turn downloading it from the Palm Pilot). Problem is though, as they leave the drive through, Lucy Liu's looking at the diary on Roger Corwen's Palm Pilot - why transfer data if she's going to steal it? The alternate explanation and hence problem is that Cameron Diaz hands Lucy Liu a CE device, not a palm pilot (it's much shinier). In which case she could be saying "Palm Pilot", meaning "transfer the data to your Palm Pilot". This solves the problem of the drive through, but doesn't explain why Lucy Liu was uploading her own schedule to Roger Corwen's diary... [Could it be possible that Alex was making a copy of the information in case one of the devices was removed from her possesion?]
Entry At one point in the movie, Knox says that he's "going to torture and kill your boss." All he intends to do is blow him up with a missile, which would probably be relatively painless. This doesn't really sounds like torture to me. [Not necessarily a mistake, he probably just said that to agitate Dylan more when she was tied to the chair.]
Entry In the scene at the Japanese themed party, when Cameron Diaz' character (Natalie) first meets the bartender, the bartender greets her in Japanese, ("konichiwa"), but she responds "Ni Hao" which is Chinese, not Japanese. [Ms. Diaz actually responded "Nihongo no shaberu no sugoi ne!" which IS Japanese for "You speak Japanese very well!"]
Entry At the party where the angels go under cover with Bosley at the party, Alex is wearing a strapless red dress. Shortly afterwards, when they are chasing the "creepy thin man", Alex takes off her red dress and we see her wearing a black catsuit. She couldn't have been wearing it under, could she? [It's possible that she had the catsuit unzipped to the waist, and folded over under her dress. Then when she took the dress off she just had to zip up her top.]
