Actors Robert Patrick (T-1000) and Joe Morton (Miles Dyson) would reunite more than 10 years later on Fox's 'The X-Files'. The plot of the episode is eerily similar to that of the Terminator: Joe Morton's character is given a second chance, going back in time one day at a time to stop a murderer from killing his wife, trying to clear his own name in the process.
