During "I Can Make You A Man," when Frank slides his finger down Rocky's chest while saying "ste-he-he-he-heam," you can hear a solitary beep from out of nowhere, from when the synthesizer was hit accidentally during that part of the song and was never edited out (it is on the CD too). See more...

Updated recently A life-size bronze statue of Riff Raff dressed in the finale's space suit, was erected in Hamilton, New Zealand in 2004, in a tribute to RHPS creator/writer Richard O'Brien. The following is inscribed on the plaque: "It's astounding! Where we stand is the birthplace of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. On this site stood the Embassy Theatre, the home of Hamilton's Late Night Double Feature show, and the barber shop where Richard O'Brien cut hair and daydreamed from 1959 to 1964." WETA Workshops, of Lord of the Rings fame, designed the statue.
Entry The lips in the opening song of The Rocky Horror Picture show belong to Patricia Quinn who plays Magenta in the movie. The person singing the song is Richard O'Brien.
Entry Many people don't realise that the actor who plays Riff Raff (Richard O'Brien) is actually the person who wrote the original stageplay of 'Rocky Horror'. He also wrote the sequel movie.
Entry The reason Dr. Scott crashes through the wall of the lab is because the filmmakers forgot to add a door to the room, so he had to crash through the wall in order to get in.
Entry Charles Gray (The Narrator/Criminologist) filmed his scenes in one day, completely separate from the rest of the film. He never met the other cast members during the making of the film and never watched it in its entirety.
Entry In the scene where Magenta and Columbia are in their "bedroom" (both are reclining on the long couch-like thing) you can see the Rocky Horror album cover on the lamp.
Entry At one point on set, the cast had an off-camera Easter egg hunt. Some were never found, apparently, because you can see at least three of the eggs: one under Frank-N-Furter's throne, one in the main hall in place of the light, and another you can see when they are going up to the lair in the elevator.
Entry At Betty and Ralph's wedding, one of the guests is Kimi Wong, who was Richard O'Brien's (Riff Raff) wife (since divorced), in an uncredited appearance. With her hair in pigtails, she jumps up and down before the bouquet is thrown, and wears a plaid dress with white knee-highs.
Entry In the scene at the dinner table, you can notice Janet's look of pain as Brad accidentally slams down on her hand.
Entry This movie premiered in the US at the end of summer '75, following the blockbuster premiere of Jaws in June '75. When the studio created theatrical posters for The Rocky Horror Picture Show, one was a bit of a send-up with the caption, "A different set of jaws" under the big red lips.
Entry Just after Brad and Janet arrive at the castle, when Riff Raff opens the casket-clock, the skeleton inside is actually real. It is the husband of the woman who had this 'special' clock commissioned.
Entry At the film's start, we see Tim Curry dressed as a pastor outside the church following the wedding. His father, James, was actually a Methodist Royal Navy chaplin. Like father, like son - almost.
Entry Meatloaf had a fear of riding a motorcycle during "Hot Patootie" so he not only had a stunt double, but during close-ups of him on the motorcycle he actually was on a wheelchair with the shield connected to it, creating the illusion of him on the motorcycle.
Entry The newspaper that Janet holds over her head is the Cleveland Plain Dealer. (The masthead is briefly visible while they are still in the car.)
Entry Meatloaf, whose real name is Marvin Lee Aday, had his name legally changed to Meatloaf after he left high school, but, ironically, he is a vegetarian.
Entry When the stunt double was riding on Eddie's motorcycle, he once swerved trying not to hit one of the "unconventional conventionists." In his effort not to hit anyone, he fell off one of the side ramps. When a crew member tried to catch him, the crew member broke his leg.
Entry At Frank-N-Furter's castle, one of the Transylvanian guests, you will notice, is a young Asian lady with very light skin and very long hair, most likely the only one in the group. She is Kimi Wong, and at the time, she was Richard O'Brien's [Riff Raff] first wife.
Entry During the scene where they were having meat for dinner, only Tim Curry knew Eddie's (Meatloaf's) body was under the table and they were suppose to be eating him. None of the other actors knew this. Therefore when Dr. Frank-N-Furter lifts the tablecloth up exposing the body, the reaction of the actors are genuine.
