Megan Fox as Catwoman? Please no...

I'm getting so very, very sick of the ongoing rumours about a Dark Knight sequel, most recently that Megan Fox is in the running to play Catwoman. However "an insider" (ie. a newspaper editor terrified by an ever-approaching deadline) has said "Cher is Christopher Nolan's first choice to play Catwoman." Aaaaaaaargh. It's all utter drivel, as is made blatantly obvious by the fact that there's only one comment properly attributed to anyone who's actually involved in the films on any level - producer of The Dark Knight Charles Roven:

So there you have it. They don't even know if he's going to direct a third film, let along the plot, and any casting's so far in the future you'd be better off using fortune cookies (Catwoman will be played by "Life is to you a dashing and bold adventure"). Stick an "R" at the end of those last 5 words and it's a near-perfect description of me...ish.

And yeah, I appreciate the degree of hypocrisy involved with me writing something about the pointlessness of people writing about something which can't justifiably be written about, but I'm just starting out with this blogging lark, so cut me some slack.
